GLOBAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES

There are countless opportunities for you and your small group to serve overseas on short-term missions experiences. Here are a few of the options you might want to check out:

Go Ministries (Panama City, Panama) (Link emails Roy Gonzalez)
This ministry works with children and churches in Panama and Costa Rica, providing opportunities for evangelism and development of church leaders

Mercy In Action(Puerto Galera, Philippines)
Provides mid-wifes and medics to assist the poor in giving birth and providing nourishment and education to those about to give birth.

Christ for the Cities International (Omaha, Nebraska)
Assist individuals in going on short term mission trips to Latin American countries.

YWAM (Youth with a Mission) (Panama Panama City, Panama)
Provides young men and women, from various indigenous tribes, formal junior high and high school education. They are provided the academic tools necessary to succeed in a nurturing environment. Along with housing at the YWAM base, the program provides food, clothing, mentorship and discipleship. The children are included in many base functions, such as sports and social activities, house-cleaning and work duties, prayer time and church attendance.

Students International (Dominican Republic)
Students International does long-term, on-going community development in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. They place students and volunteers in short term placements based on their occupations or gifts. They have 9 sites including health care, dentistry, social work, education, special education, sports, art and agriculture.
