Overview of Services
Individual, Couples, and Family Counseling
A private, confidential setting where a professional therapist guides a person(s) towards hope and renewal in his or her life and relationships.
Paige Stetson, the primary counselor in the Storrs office, areas of focus include life-transition issues; childhood, adolescent, and adult trauma; post-traumatic stress disorder; bereavement; depressive disorders; stress management; anxiety/panic disorders; abuse; emotional & spiritual woundedness, women's issues, performance issues, relationship issues, issues of sexuality, and addictions. She also has special interest in divine healing and serves on several healing ministry teams.
Overview of Counselors
All of our counselors hold accredited master’s level degrees and are either licensed or pursuing licensure under supervision in accordance with the general statutes of Connecticut. Led by Paul W. Sorensen, MDiv, MA, LPC, we strive to maintain the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
Overview of Counseling Issues
The Center is equipped to address multiple counseling issues through a variety of services. These issues include, but are not limited to, addictions, codependency, traumatic life experiences, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, pre-marital and marital care, divorce recovery, and child and adolescent development. Special attention and work is devoted by the Center towards the issue of addictions.
