Project Title

ALIVE- Middle School

The Middle School Ministry is an exciting and challenging place for students to come and learn about their relationship with God and with each other. We have developed a strategy to help middle school students ENCOUNTER God TOGETHER as they take their next steps towards BECOMING followers of Christ.

Our Strategy:
Through relationships with adult Christian role-models and peers, to help students ENCOUNTER God, experience COMMUNITY, and BECOME followers of Christ. We do this by helping kids:

  • Prioritize their relationship with Christ.
  • Develop strong relationships that encourage them in their pursuit of God.
  • Experience personal ministry through Saturday Serves and other venues.
  • What it Looks Like:
Alive! is a monthly event that includes games, activities, and an age-appropriate message for middle schoolers. Alive! also goes to the monthly WyldLife Club (1st Friday of the month) in Tolland.

  • SATURDAY SERVES
We encourage middle schoolers and their families to make a habit out of Saturday Serves. Saturday Serves is the 3rd Saturday of every month and includes serving projects on-site at the church as well as in our community. There is no better way for middle schoolers to connect their faith to real-life than through serving!

  • WEEKLY WORSHIP
We believe that middle schoolers do not need to be separated out but can participate in and learn from the regular weekly Sunday services. We encourage all middle schoolers and their families to make regular Sunday attendance at worship a regular habit.

  • ADDITIONAL EVENTS
Because middle schoolers love adventure and fun, we also schedule special events and activities throughout the year! The best place to find out about these are at the monthly ALIVE! meetings!
